Seeking a Loving Home for Two Wonderful Cats - James and Alice.I am on a heartfelt mission to find a new, loving forever home for my two cherished cats, James (affectionately known as James Bond) and his sister Alice (Alice in Wonderland). James, an 8-year-old charmer, has a big heart and enjoys nothing more than to curl up on your lap (or strategically position himself on your feet) to purr contentedly. His sister, Alice, shares his affectionate nature and together, they make the ultimate companion duo.James and Alice are indoor cats who have been treasured members of our family, receiving the utmost care and attention. They were rescued as kittens and have since been living a pampered life filled with love and comfort. It is with a heavy heart that we seek a new home for them, due to circ*mstances beyond our control. We are looking for a pet owner who understands the responsibility and joy of caring for cats. It is crucial that James and Alice are adopted together.

Story

Brothers, must go to the same home. They play with each other and keep each other company. They are both very sweet. Charley is more outgoing. Harley takes a bit to warm up but then loves to cuddle. We don't have the time to give them the love and attention they deserve as I am in school and have a young baby. They are great with kids. House trained. Playful. They come with two cat boxes, large scratch stand/play house, cat bed, two sets of cat water/food bowls and window mount bed.

Seeking a Peaceful Forever Home for Our Beloved ToniWe're on the lookout for a serene and loving environment for Toni, our cherished 12-year-old orange domestic shorthair cat. In the lively atmosphere of our home—with a toddler and a dog in the mix—Toni finds herself yearning for a quieter space where she can relax and be her tranquil self.Toni has cohabited harmoniously with another cat in our household, making her a perfect companion if you already have a feline friend. However, she expresses a preference for a canine-free environment, where she can enjoy her leisure without the excitement that dogs bring.Among her favorite activities are chasing after crumpled pieces of paper, indulging in sun-soaked naps, and relishing gentle scratches on her ears or chin. Toni adores her comfy donut bed, where she spends much of her time dreaming away. Having moved with us five times, Toni's adaptable nature means she's no stranger to car rides and can easily adjust to new surroundings.

Story

We rescued Nala and her brother Bambam when we lived in North Africa. We found them on the street barely alive and orphaned. They were approximately 2 weeks old. The vet said there was a small chance they would make it, but they fought and through constant bottle feeding and love they made it. As their strength grew, so did the force of their adorable personalities. We absolutely love them. They also developed a strong bond with our dog and they play together and even groom each other. It is therefore very, very hard for us to rehome them, but we only planned to foster them until we got back to the states, as our job requires us to constantly move around the world. The longhaul trips are incredibly stressful for them. They would thrive with a more stable environment. Nala and Bambam cannot be separated and must be adopted together. That and a loving home is our only condition.

What's the going rate for a kitten? ›

The average cat can cost anything from £150 to £1,700 or more upfront. Rehoming centres are usually less expensive than breeders and we have hundreds of cats every year looking for loving homes. We do sometimes have kittens available, so keep an eye on our website where you can check your local centre.

How much do cats go for at Petsmart? ›

Petsmart doesn't actually sell cats - they donate space to rescue organizations and shelters who provide animals for adoption. Every organization has a different adoption fee. At the shelter where I volunteer the fee is $60 for adult cats and $100 for kittens under 6 months.

How do you adopt a cat first few days? ›

Remind them of the ground rules you've set up.
  1. Sit on the floor and let her come to you. Don't force her. Just let her get acquainted on her own time. ...
  2. Your newly adopted cat may not eat much or at all at first. It's best to give your cat the same food she had at the shelter or in her foster home, at least at first.

Purebred Kitten Cost

Is it OK to buy a kitten at PetSmart? ›

Why did PetSmart stop selling cats? ›

PetSmart made the important decision to not sell cats and dogs in its stores to help address the pet overpopulation problem. Instead, it made the humane decision to donate space inside its stores for local shelters to display companion animals that were up for adoption.
